There are only five things you should know about me ...

1. I’m a 23-year-old self-proclaimed Parisian from California. Half French, half Cuban, I grew up between languages, landscapes, and ways of seeing the world—something that led me toward journalism.

2. I write to hold up a mirror between people who might otherwise never have crossed paths.

3. My goal as a journalist is to tell at least one true story that stands the test of time.

4. I move between written press, photography, and documentary video—if I could do it all, I would.

5. In interviews, I tend to linger like Lieutenant Columbo, always coming back with: “just one more thing…”
